Getting to Know the QY8: How the Controls Work

8 VOLUME Control

The VOLUME control adjusts the volume of the sound delivered via the

PHONES/LINE OUT jack. Slide the control toward “MAX.” to increase

the volume or toward “MIN.” to decrease the volume.

CAUTION

Set the VOLUME control to “MIN.” when connect-

ing the QY8 to a sound system for the first time,

then gradually raise the volume level until the re-

quired listening level is reached. This simple pre-

caution can prevent unexpectedly high volume lev-

els from damaging your speaker system (and

maybe even your ears!).
